Ask a Financial Service Representative for a list of free ESR and VITA tax filing locations. You can also visit www.eisr.org for locations.

How to fill out your return to be deposited in a Checking Account:

• Make sure that your routing number and checking account number are both correct and that you have specified “Checking” account by marking the box.
• Your account number will fill all the boxes to the right of “Account Number.” If you have any extra boxes at the end, you will know your checking account number was written incorrectly.

How to fill out your return to be deposited in a Savings Account:

• Make sure that your routing number and savings account number are both correct and thatyou have specified “Savings” account by marking the box.
• Your savings account number might not fill in all the boxes to the right of “Account number.” This is alright, just be sure that you start in the left most box.

Your Winston-Salem Federal Credit Union will only post to the account numbers provided.

If not properly filed, your tax refund will be returned to the IRS, so be sure to write the correct number! Please ask a teller or Financial Service Representative to help you identify the correct checking account or savings account number.

You can use the Where’s My Refund? tool on the IRS website at www.irs.gov/refunds to check your refund status. Once you have confirmed your refund has been processed using this tool, a teller or Financial Service Representative will be able to inform you of the expected date your refund will post and be available in your account*.
