We’ve all seen the heartbreaking images and heard the stories of our neighbors in western North Carolina, who are facing the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Now, more than ever, our community’s spirit of “people helping people” can make a real difference.
At Winston-Salem Federal Credit Union, we are partnering with the Northwest Chapter of the Carolinas Credit Union League to lend a helping hand—and we’re inviting you to join us in this important effort.
How You Can Help: From now until Wednesday, October 16th, we’ll be collecting donations at our branch to assist with recovery efforts. Here’s what’s most needed:
- Water (cases/jugs)
- Baby formula and baby food
- Non-perishable foods (protein bars, granola, canned meats, etc. – easy tops preferred)
- Diapers and wipes
- Feminine care products
- Hand and surface sanitizers
- Hoodies and sweaters
Drop-Off Details: Bring your donations to 711 E. Salem Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC 27101, between 9 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Even the smallest contribution can have a big impact on those in need. Together, we can bring hope and relief to families facing tough times.
